MAKING A DIFFERENCE:

FOR THE NEWBIES:The hype of renaissance is always unparalleled. With people showcasing thier wide variety of talents in respective fields, let it be Cultural,Literary or Variety. You wanna be a rockstar?well this is your rock n roll hall of fame.Pretty much Renaissance is one event where the whole college gathers together,People get aqquianted and as the higher powers say" get rid of fear and face the audience".

since the splendid display of organisation and creativity of the batches before us have we waited for this ,shall we say, wonderous opportunity.Rennaisance has been about revolution. Each year each of the batches have brought forth something new.So we began our research early on:hushed discussions all over the place. We had to come up with a schedule which didnt delete the old ones and yet held space for new one's.After careful deliberation with Obieda maam the dates were decided. It would be from 10 -14 March which included 2 days of YENTITY, for the staff and the rest for the UG's,PG's and the interns.Daily meetings wit Obeida ma''am kept us going in the right direction.Invitations and brochures were designed and handed over to every living soul in college.Needless to say we had our hands full.we were practically juggling classes, clinics, tests, work and practice for the next couple of weeks. To make our efforts more coordinated,we started a CULTURALS group on whatsapp(an IM chat service free of cost for android, symbian, ios,BBOS and Mango). We split up people into commities and gave them specific tasks.Decoration was a major issue. The general theme was COLORS.So the basic idea was to paint the college.By 4/3/2012 decorations were completed.Big colourful banners were made with info on events, contact numbers. In the meantime, registrations were coming in hot. With the passed out batches coming in late, spot entry was included.Towards the end of March, you could feel the intensity of competion growing.People were going for dance classes, skits were being rehearsed and karaokes were being downloaded. With one week remaining and prelims starting tommorow,we are making our final preparations. So fasten your seat belts and get ready for a RENAISSANCE you've never seen before
